Islamic studies and especially the analysis of the Sira of the Prophet (PBUH) are important from the perspective of orientalists due to their extra-religious Viewpoint and diverse research methods. The book "And Muhammad Is His Messenger" by Annemarie Schimmel introduces the Prophet (PBUH) and is one of the works of the Orientalist field, which looks at the Sira and history of the Messenger of God mixed with mysticism and Ṣūfism. This research aims to identify and criticize Schimmel's views in an analytical and critical way, and tries to answer what criticisms are made on Schimmel's views on the Erhasat (Unusual Events Simultaneous with the Birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)) and miracles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)? Based on the findings of the research, Schimmel records reports of miracles without spectrometry. In the issue of inconsistency between the claim of the Prophet (PBUH) not being superhuman and the acceptance of the reports of super habits and especially the emphasis on Chest incision (Shagh-ul-Sadr), the lack of differentiation between miracles and Erhasat and establishing a connection between the miracles of the prophet and the ancient Indian narratives are substantive criticisms of Schimmel Ward's approach. In cases such as the Ṣūfi approach to the Prophet's Sira and miracles, reliance on Sunni sources and little use of Shi‘ite sources, and trust in legends and myth-making, there are also methodological criticisms of Schimmel.
